Info About Lice

Lice are small wingless insects that live on the scalp and feed on human blood. They’re highly contagious and can spread quickly, making them difficult to get rid of without help from a professional. While lice don’t transmit any diseases, their bites can cause itching, irritation, and discomfort which can last for days or weeks after they’ve been removed. 

Head Lice

These pesky critters often make their home near the base of necks, behind ears, and around hairlines. They thrive mostly in shorter or medium-length hair since it’s easier for them to grab onto.

Body Lice

While similar to head lice in appearance, these critters prefer setting up shop inside clothing rather than directly on your scalp. Unfortunately, this type of infestation is common only when outfits have been worn repeatedly over time – and let’s face it…who wears an outfit more than once?
