What happens if a bed bug bites?

If you find blood spots on your sheets, this may indicate the presence of bed bugs. You may also notice cast skins or feces. Bed bug bites usually appear on parts of the body exposed during sleep (face, shoulders, legs, arms, etc). Sometimes, bed bug bites are grouped together and may appear in a line or zigzag pattern. Bites appear as small or raised areas that may cause redness or itching. Each person may react differently to bed bug bites.

Each individual may respond differently to bed bug bites. The symptoms may not be obvious for several days after the bed bug bite has already occurred. Some people may not produce any symptoms despite having bed bug bites.
