What do Bed Bugs Look Like?

Bed bugs have a small, flat appearance. Their bodies are oval-shaped and do not have wings. Adult bed bugs may have wing pads, but they never develop into functional wings. Bed bugs are brown in color but may appear red-colored after eating. The size of bed bugs varies, but they are generally quite small. On average, they are about four to five millimeters in size and move very slowly. These bugs are visible to the naked eye, however, they can be hard to detect.
